ENEOS Renewable Energy Management Corporation was formed in April 2013 with the objective of carrying out the operation and maintenance of renewable energy power plants. Now, we manage and operate a portfolio of approximately 100 renewable energy power plants across Japan that utilize solar, onshore wind, and biomass energy sources. Our vision is to maintain a focus on safety and efficiency as we operate our facilities, enabling us to coexist in harmony with the local community and provide future generations with stable supplies of renewable energy.
Knowing that creating a sustainable society hinges on coexisting with the people of surrounding communities without impacting the natural environment, we will glean insights from the data our diverse mix of power-generation facilities produce and apply what we learn so that we can also develop renewable energy power plants that are both robust and environmentally friendly. We will take the initiative to incorporate cutting-edge technologies, too, which will help us not only operate safer power plants efficiently but also develop workplaces where our employees can feel more comfortable and better thrive.
Investments in renewable energy, such as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investments, are accelerating on a global scale as an approach to combating climate change. Similar progress is evident in Japan, where large-scale offshore wind power is poised to lead the way in the country’s further adoption of renewable energy as a means of increasing energy self-sufficiency. At ENEOS Renewable Energy Management Corporation, we want the promotion and growth of renewable energy to be more than just a temporary phenomenon—we will take proactive steps to ensure stable supplies of clean electricity as a true primary power source and contribute to creating a happy, sustainable society.
